Due to scheduled maintenance work on the national rail network, disruptions to train services in the Netherlands are expected during the summer months, including delays and cancelations. Over 40 locations are scheduled to undergo maintenance work, some for extended periods of time. The Moerdijk Bridge will be closed from Tuesday, July 25, until Friday, August 11. The overhead electrical line between Zwolle and Kampen will be under maintenance until the end of August, with replacement buses running between the two stations. Additionally, Utrecht Centraal area will face intermittent disruption throughout the summer.
Travelers are advised to confirm the status of their trains and to allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
