Members of the Panhellenic Federation of Railway Workers are planning to hold a 24-hour strike in Athens on Thursday, September 14. The strike will start at 00:01 (local time) on Thursday and end at 23:59. According to media reports, the action is expected to impact services on the Proastiakos Suburban Lines, including to Athens International Airport (ATH). Anticipate rail disruptions throughout the day.
The union is protesting against the privatization of Trainose, the rail operator for the Proastiakos line.
