Major delays are being reported at Buenos Aires’s Ezeiza (EZE) and Jorge Newbery (AEP) international airports as of the morning of Wednesday, January 3, due to a wildcat strike being carried out by ground staff. Delays of more than two hours have been reported at baggage claims. It is unclear when operations will return to normal.
Travelers are advised to be prepared for increased waiting times and to consider traveling with hand luggage only until the situation normalizes.
