A grenade exploded near a police station in the Rosengård area of Malmö, Skåne county, around 21:00 (local time) on Wednesday, January 17. Authorities have not yet identified the assailant, or a motive for the attack. Furthermore, no injuries were reported, but several vehicles were damaged. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. Expect an increased security presence in the area as well as associated transportation disruptions.
