On Tuesday, March 20, Aerolíneas Argentinas, the national airline, announced that it had suspended ticket sales until Sunday, March 25, due to damaged aircraft. According to the airline, a number of their planes suffered hail damage last week at the Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery (AEP) in Buenos Aires. A number of flights will also be rescheduled while the planes are repaired. Airline officials said that they intend to have full service for the upcoming Easter holiday weekend (March 30-April 2).
Travelers flying with Aerolíneas Argentinas are advised to confirm their travel reservations and itineraries and contact the airline for additional information.
