An explosion was reported at a TATA steelwork in Port Talbot (Wales) at approximately 03:30 (local time) on Friday, April 26. South Wales Police announced that emergency personnel are responding to the incident and are asking people to avoid the area. At approximately 04:50, TATA said that there were no serious injuries from the blast and all fires are under control. Residual disruptions are expected in the area as the fires are extinguished and an investigation into the explosion is conducted.
