Manchester Airport (MAN) officials announced on the morning (local time) of Monday, May 20, that the power issue affecting fuel supply at the airport has been solved. According to the officials, most of the flights scheduled for Monday are expected to operate as planned; however, residual delays and cancelations may occur.

At least 87 flights were canceled on Sunday, May 19, after a power outage at the airport shut down the fuel supply system. An estimated 13,000 passengers were affected by the delays and cancelations.

Travelers flying via MAN are advised to confirm the status of their flight before departing for the airport and to contact their airline for additional information.
