The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) reportedly found a "viable" under-vehicle improvised explosive device (UVIED) attached to a police vehicle near the Shandon Park Golf Club in Belfast. The golf club and nearby buildings were evacuated as explosive technicians worked to defuse the device as of Saturday afternoon (local time). 

A heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are to be expected in east Belfast over the coming hours.
