As of Thursday, June 27, heavy rain and consequent flooding have hit Lagos and Benin City since Tuesday, June 25, and are expected to continue over the coming days. While no injuries have yet been reported, material damages have been reported in both cities. Further rainfall and associated disruptions, including transportation disruptions, are likely in the coming days.
