Russian airline Aeroflot announced on Tuesday, July 2, that several of its scheduled flights from Moscow to Prague (Czech Republic) have been canceled after Czech aviation authorities denied Aeroflot permission to operate the flights. At least four of the flights along the Moscow-Prague-Moscow route have been canceled for July 2, along with one flight on Wednesday, July 3. According to Aeroflot, passengers will be able to receive a refund for their ticket or change flights to an alternative point Europe without fees. Additional information can be found on the Aeroflot website. Further flight disruptions are possible in the coming days.
Potentially impacted travelers are advised to confirm the status of their flight before leaving for the airport and to contact Aeroflot for additional information.
