Sant Sebastià beach in Barcelona was evacuated on Sunday, August 25, after an explosive device was found in the water. Police cordoned off a 250 meter-wide (820 foot-wide) perimeter around the explosive device. Further information was not immediately reported.

A heightened security presence is to be expected at the site over the coming hours.
