London will host World Car Free Day on Sunday, September 22, implementing over 20 km (12 mi) of closed roads across the city. The city administration has announced that there will be extensive road closures and restrictions in the City of London, Southwark, and Tower Hamlets between 07:00 (local time) to 19:00. Over 200 roads will be closed. London Bridge and Tower Bridge will be closed to general traffic, though buses will still run across London Bridge.
