Environmental activists have called for a march from Gonesse (Val-d'Oise) to Paris on Friday, October 4, and Saturday, October 5, to denounce a project by a private company to build a shopping mall on an agricultural land in Gonesse. Protesters are expected to gather at Triangle of Gonessse at 09:30 (local time) on October 4, before heading to La Cité Fertile in Pantin (Seine-Saint-Denis) where a gathering and a concert are planned at 18:00. On October 5, protesters will march starting from 10:00 from la Cité Fertile to the Hotel de Ville in Paris, via Place Stalingrad. At Hotel de Ville, activists will stop for a picnic outside the building before heading to Hotel de Matignon at 14:30, where a demonstration is set to take place.
