The Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français (SNCF) announced on Tuesday, November 5, that rail services between Bordeaux (Gironde department) and Hendaye (Pyrénées-Atlantiques department) will be suspended indefinitely due to flooding on the tracks. As of Tuesday evening (local time), services have been halted at stations in Dax, Bayonne, Pau, and Tarbes.
Further rail disruptions, including train delays and cancelations, are expected over the coming hours and days.
