Lawyers from all six district courts in Delhi entered their third day of protest on Wednesday, November 6. Several protests have been reported outside the Patiala, Rohini, and Tis Hazari courts. In addition, the entry of the Saket and Patiala courts have been blocked by protesting lawyers. At around 12:00 (local time), two lawyers reportedly tried to commit suicide at the Rohini court.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Bar Council of India (BCI) called for lawyers to end their strike on Thursday, November 7.

Context
Violent clashes broke out between police forces and lawyers at the Tis Hazari court following an altercation over a parking spot on November 2, injuring 60. The clashes triggered strike and protest movements from both lawyers and police forces across Delhi.
