Dutch police are investigating a suspicious incident aboard a plane at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport (AMS) as of 20:00 (local time) on Wednesday, November 6. Ground traffic between Gate D and E24 has been suspended, and flight delays have been reported. Authorities have issued a Grip 3 security alert indicating "an incident or serious event with major consequences for the population." Further details are still emerging.

A heightened security presence and additional flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations, are to be expected at AMS over the coming hours.
