As of Monday, November 18, hazardous air quality was recorded in Dhaka, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) peaking at 246 at around 09:00 (local time). Unhealthy air quality is forecast to affect the capital through at least Sunday, November 24.


An AQI reading of 0-50 is considered good, 51-100 moderate, and 101-200+ unhealthy.


Individuals present in Dhaka are advised to monitor the situation, limit outdoor activities until the situation normalizes, and wear N95 rated masks as a protection.
