TIMEFRAME expected from 6/12/2019, 12h00 until 8/12/2019, 11h59 (Africa/Johannesburg). COUNTRY/REGION South Africa

The state power utility company Eskom announced that power cuts, which have impacted South Africa on Thursday, December 5, will continue across the country on a rotational basis from 09:00 (local time) on Friday, December 6, until 06:00 on Saturday, December 7. Associated transportation, business, and power disruptions are expected throughout Friday. Demonstrations are also possible if power disruptions persist over the near term. .

Individuals in South Africa are advised to monitor the situation, keep battery-operated devices fully charged whenever possible, to be cautious when driving or crossing streets if traffic signals are not functioning.
