According to the State Election Commission, 51 percent of the nearly four million registered voters turned out for the election.

Political rallies and protests are possible in the lead up to the elections and following the result of the vote; a heightened security presence and localized traffic disruptions are to be anticipated near all such demonstrations.

Advice

Individuals in Croatia are advised to avoid public demonstrations as a precaution, refrain from discussing political subjects in public or on social media, and anticipate protests, rallies, a heightened security presence, and localized disruptions.
