Authorities at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (TSE) announced at approximately 10:45 (local time) on Monday, January 27, that the airport is closed until at least 14:00 due to inclement weather. They also confirmed that 41 flights have been delayed, and a further 11 canceled. According to TSE officials, wind speed is at 72 kph (45 mph) with gusts between 86-97 kph (54-60 mph).

Further flight disruptions, including delays and cancelations are possible at TSE in the coming hours. 


Individuals flying via TSE are advised to monitor developments to the situation, anticipate further flight delays and cancelations, and confirm flight reservations.
