Wind warnings are expected to remain in place until Wednesday, March 11, at 12:00 (local time) in the country's central and southernmost areas, while orange warnings for rain will be in effect until Thursday, March 12, at 12:00 in central Germany. An additional red warning remains in place in the Harz district (Saxony-Anhalt state) until Wednesday March 11, at 12:00, where wind gusts of up to 120 kph (75 mph) are forecast.
