On Friday, April 3, snowfall warnings were issued in British Columbia as adverse weather conditions are predicted in the coming days. A snowfall warning is in effect for the Coquihalla Highway as 25 cm (10 in) of snow has been forecast to fall. According to Environment Canada, 10-15 cm (4-6 in) of snow has already fallen as of Friday and more is expected through Sunday, April 5.

Associated transportation disruptions, including road closures and hazardous driving conditions, are expected in British Columbia over the coming days.
