Event

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers reportedly shot and injured three Palestinian men in the town of Abu Dis (East Jerusalem) after they attempted to attack an IDF post on Friday, May 15. Soldiers opened fire as the men allegedly prepared to throw Molotov cocktails and explosive devices at them.

The incident comes during an increase in tensions in the West Bank following the killing of an Israeli soldier on Tuesday, May 12, a visit to Israel by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the killing of a Palestinian protestor on Wednesday, May 13, and the 72nd anniversary of the 'Nakba' on Friday, May 15.
