A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane, flight PK-8303, crashed in Model Colony (Karachi) on approach to Jinnah International Airport (KHI) at approximately 14:45 (local time) on Friday, May 22. According to PIA, the aircraft is an Airbus 320 carrying 91 passengers and eight crew on board and originated in Lahore. Rescue teams have been dispatched to the location.
