Demonstrators supporting nuclear energy rallied in front of Greenpeace's headquarters in Paris to protest the closure of a key reactor in France on Monday, June 29. Protesters have gathered as another nuclear plant in the country is due to close overnight on Monday as the French government plans to reduce the usage of nuclear power in the country. Protesters carried signs with messages such as "less nuclear means more coal" and wore face masks. The protest remained peaceful as of Monday evening (local time).
