Protesters have gathered on Monday, July 6, in the South Zone of Sao Paulo (Sao Paulo state) to protest against racism and the government. The demonstration remained relatively small, peaceful, and protesters were escorted by the military police throughout the day. However, larger protests are being organized for the coming days and much larger crowds can be expected in protests across the city of Sao Paulo.
Individuals in Sao Paulo are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all large public gatherings as a precaution, adhere to instructions issued by local authorities.
