Berlin police arrested 12 people across Berlin suspected of being involved in terror activities on Wednesday, July 15. In all, 19 properties were searched in the districts of Reinickendorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, and Tempelhof-Schöneberg. Some 450 security personnel were deployed to undertake the operation. Those arrested are suspected of financing terrorism, among other activities.
Similar security operations are possible in Germany over the near term.
Individuals in Germany are advised to remain vigilant for militant and criminal behavior, report any suspicious behavior or objects to relevant authorities, and adhere to all instructions and advice issued by local authorities and their home governments.
