Participants in Nakuru are planning to gather at railways at 09:00 (local time), and in Kisumu, the demonstrators will reportedly gather at the Sports Ground at 09:00. Participants in Mombasa will reportedly gather at Treasury Square at 09:00.
The protests have not been authorised and may result in police intervention and possible clashes between security forces and demonstrators. Additional associated demonstrations in urban centers, including Nairobi, are possible. Localized disruptions in the vicinity of rallies should be anticipated.
Those in the aforementioned areas, and other urban centers in Kenya, are advised to monitor developments, avoid all gatherings as a precaution, and adhere to all instructions issued by local authorities.
