At least four people were killed and five others injured in a shooting in the village of Bolshiye Orly in the Nizhny Novgorod region on Monday, October 12. A gunman armed with a rifle reportedly opened fire on a bus stop before escaping to a nearby forest. The motive behind the attack is not yet known. Police and forest rangers are conducting a search of the forest for the culprit.
