Event

Significant travel disruption has been reported on the M1 exit slip road to the M25 after a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) caught fire on Junction 6A in the early hours of Tuesday, October 20. The M1 exit slip road onto the M25 has reportedly been closed since 06:50 (local time), resulting in queues of up to 12 miles (19km) back towards Luton.

Heavy congestion should be anticipated in the vicinity of the incident while clean-up and recovery operations are underway.
