A protest has been reported on Victoria Island (Lagos) as of 10:15hrs (local time) on Wednesday, December 2, in the vicinity of the Access Bank Head Office on Prince Alaba Abiodun Oniru Road. The event has been largely peaceful with most attendees being staff members being disgruntled with lay-offs and unpaid wages. Individuals are being asked to remain clear of the area due to the risk of criminal exploits during the protest. 


Those in Lagos are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all protests due to the risk of violence, and adhere to any instructions issued by the local authorities.
