A low-intensity explosive device planted at Seoul’s Yonsei University exploded on Tuesday, June 13. The bomb, reportedly poorly made, was left in a bag hanging on the door knob of a professor’s office and detonated when the bag was opened, injuring the professor.
Police are investigating the incident and are not dismissing the possibility of a terrorist attack.
Individuals present in South Korea are advised to report any suspicious objects or activity to the relevant authorities.
