A strike affecting the Paris-region RER, Transilien, TER, and Intercités railway lines is expected to take place on Thursday, February 15. According to transportation officials, only half of trains will run on the RER C and Transilien lines, and only two trains per hour will run on the RER D and the Intercités lines. RER E and TER lines are also expected to be affected.
Last minute delays and cancelations are also likely, along with overcrowding on available services. Increased traffic congestion in the Paris region is also expected, as commuters seek alternate means of transportation.
Potentially impacted travelers are advised to confirm train timetables and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
