We recently issued an audited report on internal controls at its North American facilities for our cash management, currency processing and cash logistics services in compliance with the new certification standards for service organizations – AICPA SSAE No. 16 and CICA CSAE 3416. The client centric culture of service and operational leadership which is central to our philosophy has enabled the company’s to attain these rigorous standards which provide clients with further assurance that best-in-class compliance, controls and reporting procedures are consistently deployed in order to safeguard the assets and information entrusted to Garda.

With 10,000 dedicated service employees, an expanding network of 165 secure transaction processing centers across the United States and Canada, and more than $200 billion of currency processed each year on behalf of its customers, we will maintain these high standards throughout our operations.

“Our unwavering commitment to the highest standards of service and operations excellence is unparalleled in our industry and this new certification reaffirms that commitment,” emphasizes Garda Cash Logistics President and COO Christopher Jamroz. “We are the fastest growing currency processing company in North America and we are setting the pace for the cash logistics industry as the leader in risk mitigation, internal controls, reporting transparency, and adherence to strict compliance protocols. As the industry’s only SSAE No.16 and CSAE 3416 certified company, Garda is effectively an extension of our clients’ risk management discipline with best-in-class core competence in currency supply chain management.”

“We performed flawlessly in attaining these standards, which certify Garda’s undisputed leadership in reporting transparency and rigorous internal controls and compliance protocols,” explains Lyse Lehoux, Executive Director, Compliance and Internal Controls. “With this independent audited recognition, our clients now have an even greater assurance that Garda is protecting their assets and information. It also provides them with an in-depth understanding of how we provide those services. Constantly enhancing our processes and control environment is a key focus for Garda.
