Today, I am pleased to announce the return to real-time deposit processing capabilities at both our downtown Chicago and Broadview facilities. Over the course of the last three days, we eliminated all processing and reporting backlogs.
Any and all outstanding mixed (coin and cash) client deposits received as of May 5th are on schedule and will be posted during regularly scheduled transmissions. We are awaiting replacement coin processing equipment that is needed to alleviate the coin-only deposit backlog.
We continue to make great strides in our recovery efforts at our Broadview alternate facility. Garda’s computer workstations, terminals, printers and local IT infrastructure and support have now been restored and we have devoted extra resources to manage the flow of information, thus alleviating the research and reporting backlogs to our clients. We do not anticipate any further delays.
All routes and shuttles are being dispatched with minimal delays reported and the majority of our damaged equipment has now been refurbished or replaced.
