The summit reunited Canada, the United States and Mexico’s leaders in Ottawa on June 29.
The North American Leaders’ Summit (NALS) is an annual meeting between the prime minister of Canada and the presidents of Mexico and the United States. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, President Barack Obama and President Enrique Peña Nieto had the opportunity to discuss topics that affect the lives of millions of Canadians, Mexicans and Americans, around sustainable economic growth, job creation and standard of living.
GardaWorld had the privilege to provide security services for the event. Our security professionals partnered with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to deliver the highest level of security standard during the event. Our dedicated management teams from the Ottawa and Montreal branches supported by Screening Officers of the Ottawa International Airport cooperated to demonstrate GardaWorld’s security expertise. Indeed, close to 150 Protective Services security guards controlled access to 5 different sites, using x-ray machines, portals, and wands metal detectors, and Pre-Board Screening Officers were there to ensure the appropriate use of security screening machines.
GardaWorld is proud of the outstanding leadership and great team work from our people and we have received incredible feedback form the RCMP representatives for of the excellence of our service delivery at the event.
