As National Director of Retail Security for GardaWorld Security - U.S., Don supports our retail-focused teams nationwide, helping us continue to raise the bar in manned guarding, service, safety, and innovation. He also plays a key role in advancing ECAM growth in the retail space as a shared resource between guarding and ECAM. This force multiplier is helping us deliver even greater value as trusted advisors to our clients. Over the past two decades, Don has built extensive experience in the retail security space, along with a dynamic leadership presence that fits perfectly with our growth mindset. He has held senior roles at Allied Universal, United Protective Services, and major property groups like Simon Property Group and Washington Prime Group. Don has led teams of 1,500+ with annual revenues of $55 Million and has been responsible for the safety and security of leading brands including H-E-B, Simon, Hilton, and Target. He has also overseen public safety at some of the country’s largest shopping centers - all while building lasting relationships with clients, tenants, and local communities. Earlier in his career, Don served in law enforcement at the University of Central Florida Police Department, where he was part of specialized units including SWAT and Crisis Response. He was named Officer of the Year in 2005 and has continued to bring that same level of discipline and service throughout his career.
