Content and Duration

This virtual classroom training, recognized by the Ministry of Public Security, is a total of 54 hours. It is offered on various possible schedule. This training does not include the First Aid in the Workplace course.

Please note that it is strongly suggested to begin your security agent training process with the first aid training. In addition to your security guard training, the first aid training is mandatory to obtain your permit from the Bureau de la sécurité privée (BSP). You can register to this training here.

After receiving your successful completion certificate for the security guard course, the Customer Service training will be added to your profile. Once completed, this training will enable you to receive the P12 premium of $0.50 added to your hourly rate as a security guard.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older at the time of registration
  • Have no criminal record
  • Ability to read, write and speak in French
  • Have access to a computer with a webcam
  • Have access to high-speed Internet

If you are unable to travel to Montreal to attend the CNESST course, this 54-hour training is for you. Note however that first aid training in the workplace is a prerequisite to obtaining your security guard permit.
