Our Key CSR Initiatives

Transforming Lives Through Corrective Surgeries

GardaWorld Security Africa is funding corrective surgeries for 25 children with clubfoot from John Paul II Home in Turkana County, Kenya. Partnering with AIC Cure Children’s Hospital, Africa’s first pediatric orthopedic teaching hospital, we cover the full cost of each surgery to remove financial barriers. By restoring mobility and independence, GardaWorld Security Africa is improving health outcomes and transforming lives in the communities we serve.

School Feeding Programme in partnership with Mary’s Meals International, Malawi

GardaWorld has partnered with Mary’s Meals International to provide daily nutritious meals  to 304 children from Nancholi Primary school in the Southern part on Malawi, a region facing significant drought challenges. The program ensures that each child receives a nourishing cup of porridge for the entire year. The cost to feed one child for the whole year is only $23.

A daily cup of Porridge meets a child’s immediate hunger needs, allowing them to concentrate and participate in class without the destruction of an empty stomach. By addressing this immediate need, children will be motivated to attend school, where they will receive nutritious meals that supports their learning.

This initiative has broad, long-term benefits, not only for the children but also for their families and society at large. It contributes to improved educational outcomes, better health and nutrition, and helps level the playing field for children facing poverty.

School Feeding Program in partnership with Mary’s Meals International, Zambia

GardaWorld has partnered with Mary’s Meals International to provide daily nutritious meals for a year to 138 students at Mlanzi Primary School in Zambia’s Petauke District, helping combat hunger and support education amid the country’s climate-related food crisis. At just $25 per child annually, the initiative aims to improve attendance, concentration, and overall well-being. Mary’s Meals, which supports over 400,000 children in 900+ Zambian schools, oversees implementation and monitoring with monthly reports to GardaWorld. The program is designed for long-term sustainability, with ongoing fundraising and community capacity-building to maintain the feeding initiative after the organization’s eventual exit.

Sanitation Project for Special Needs Learners at Kangemi Primary School

GardaWorld is supporting the construction of a dedicated 4-door ablution block with handwashing stations and a 10,000-litre water tank for 43 special needs learners at Kangemi Primary School, located in Nairobi’s Kangemi informal settlement. These students, who currently share inadequate and unsafe facilities with the general student population, will benefit from improved privacy, dignity, and safety. The project, with an estimated cost of $9,861.67 and a completion timeline of three months, aims to promote inclusivity and enhance the learning environment. It also reinforces GardaWorld’s commitment to social responsibility, strengthening its brand image and appeal to clients, partners, and employees. Sustainability will be ensured through teacher-led training on proper facility use and regular maintenance.

Supporting Children with Autism in Rwanda

In partnership with AUTISME Rwanda, a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting children with autism, GardaWorld Security Africa contributed to enhancing the learning environment at the organization’s center. As part of our ongoing commitment to inclusive education and child development, we donated tables and chairs to improve the comfort and well-being of the children during their daily activities. This initiative supports the center’s mission to provide education, therapy, and social integration opportunities that are crucial for the children’s growth and development.
