Garda’s Performance during Hurricane Sandy Elicits Gratitude & Thanks from Financial Client

Garda Cash Logistics has established a comprehensive, rapid response business continuity program to assist clients in weathering disruptive events like the recent Hurricane Sandy. As the Northeast region gradually recovered from the storm, Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. thanked its Garda team for its outstanding efforts during and following the Hurricane.

 

“I wanted to take the opportunity to bring to light our appreciation for your teams efforts throughout the past week,” Jon Good, Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc. Manager of Alternative Cash & Electronic Services, wrote to Vince Modarelli, Garda Senior Vice President and Head, US North.  “As we continue to strive for more normal operations, I thought it appropriate to express our sincerest gratitude towards your team’s efforts to restore service throughout our entire footprint.  The extremely long hours, flooded roadways, downed power lines and two+ feet of snow, not to mention any personal impacts, does not always make it easy to enter each location with confidence and a smile; but I have heard nothing but compliments regarding the Garda representatives that serviced our locations.

 

“I am very appreciative of the communications provided throughout this past week’s challenges,” Jon added.  “This open line kept us informed and able to pass on information to our branches and customers.   This constant flow of information was imperative to Susquehanna in maintaining the relationships we have established.

 

“It is obvious that Garda is committed to providing the best possible service in the worst possible situations.  It is how Garda reacted to each individual challenge that reinforces our decision to partner with this armored company,” he concluded. “Again, thank you for your teams continued commitment to Susquehanna.”
