Brine Hamilton listed in Canadian Security Magazine's Top 10 Under 40

We are proud to announce that Brine Hamilton, CHPA, Healthcare Security Specialist, Ontario, Security Services, has recently been named one of Canadian Security Magazine’s Top 10 Under 40 for 2020! The Top 10 recognizes young achievers in the security field who are providing a positive impact in the industry at large. 

Brine Hamilton is GardaWorld’s Healthcare Security Specialist. He has worked in healthcare security, from long term care facilities to busy urban acute care environments, for over 13 years and has provided leadership in both the public and private sector. In addition to healthcare security, Brine is a faculty member at Fleming College and Seneca College, and is a former faculty member of Humber College. He has twice been recognized as a Top 10 Professor college-wide at Fleming College based on student evaluations.

Brine is a member of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Board of Directors as a Member-at-Large. As a member of the IAHSS Ontario Chapter, Brine has served as the Chapter’s Treasurer and its Chair. He earned his Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) in 2016 and has supported many IAHSS initiatives including speaking at the 49th AC&E in Vancouver, Canada. Brine has been published in Canadian Security Magazine, Hospital News and contributed to a security textbook used by colleges and universities across Canada.

Brine recently launched The Healthcare Security Cast; a podcast focused on healthcare security and personal development.
