Members of the Canadian Armed Forces and parliamentarians recognized GardaWorld's contribution as an employer of choice for Veterans

GardaWorld received the Veterans Employment Transition Award at the Annual Celebration of Service on Parliament Hill Ceremonies. This award was presented in recognition of the company's efforts in hiring veterans, reservists and their spouses.

The event, which brought together parliamentarians from all parties, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, citizens and business leaders, celebrated the work of Canadian employers that support the men, women and families who have served their country.

GardaWorld was recognized for its outstanding dedication to hiring and supporting military personnel and their families, valuing their military experience and facilitating the transition to civilian employment.

"GardaWorld is proud to receive this recognition but is more honored to be able to assist the fantastic Canadians who serve our country and deserve every opportunity for career success. GardaWorld commits to continually giving back and hire these outstanding Canadians. Not only is it good to do, it makes our business better," said the Honourable Christian Paradis, Senior Vice President, Strategic Development, Security Services at GardaWorld.

"It is great to see Canadian success stories like GardaWorld step up to show the value of hiring Canadian Armed Forces Veterans and Reservists," said the Honourable Erin O'Toole, founder of the Celebration of and MP for Durham.
