U2 Concert promoter “found what it was looking for” with GardaWorld
One of rock group U2’s most popular hit songs is called “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for”, but Montreal concert promoter Evenko certainly found what they were looking for when they selected GardaWorld to provide cash logistics services for two U2 concerts in Montreal, Canada.
More than 80,000 people attended the two concerts, held at the Hippodrome, each day.
During the events, GardaWorld was on hand with five armored trucks operating around the clock to provide Evenko with pickups and deliveries throughout the period.
“The workload was the equivalent of ten routes per day as 25 GardaWorld officers made 200 pickups and deliveries,” noted Garda Account Director Luc Morin. “We received tremendous positive feedback about our performance. The excellent service and cooperation of our officers made the operational great success.”
“I want to thank the GardaWorld team for its great professionalism,” said Cindy Hachey of Evenko, which presents musical, sporting and family events throughout Quebec, the Atlantic Provinces and Eastern United States. “They were able to quickly adapt to our reality and facilitated our work and particular requirements. They even managed to get ahead of the situation.”
